My thumb rule I give everyone 3 opportunities, if you say no to my plans 3 times back to back, I don’t invite you anymore. If I am always making the plans, I will stop until you look for me. Relationships are a mutual thing no matter what type of relationship it is (it can be cat and dog) but they are a two way street.

The sad reality is that if they never reach out first that means you don’t bring enough value to their lives! I have people in my life who are just energy vampires, who hold me back, I don’t feel any better after I hang out with them, I’m just glad that’s over. Now why would I reach out? I’m sure that you have those people in your life too and they are probably wondering why YOU never reach out!
