that's why I picked Dallas over Houston. I checked the job market and salary before I moved a year ago and it was trash even with a degree. Houston has all the fun but only a small percentage of the people are actually making good money.

You’re so right Houston want you to pay 1200 dollar rent on a 18 dollar wage and unfortunately they still have not raise there minimum wage in sometime .

Houston used to be really reasonable 10-15yrs ago. Now, you just hv to work 3+ jobs/hustles in order to be good. These apartment prices are way too high

HPD is hiring and they’re pay scale is pretty good and HISD is hiring as well and can’t forget TDCJ is always hiring and it’s plenty of Prisons in the Houston area or close so I don’t understand why people are saying this lol
