Jeremy’s situation makes me so sad 😔 He’s so dedicated in protecting both shuri and the family that he’s willingly trying to kill his feelings. But unlike other stories, we KNOW that this one won’t work out at all. I don’t ship them (for very obvious reasons), but “what if johaness brought shuri in to be jeremy’s fiance rather than stepmother” will forever be my what if.

for the ppl who don't like Jeremy for liking shuri since he's their mother, THEYRE LITERALLY NEAR IN AGE. their dynamic in the family felt more like the parents who protect the little ones, so knowing each other's struggles, how can he not fall for her? the moment she went to their house, she's never been a mother to him, leaning more towards friends if relationship-wise.

For all those hating even I’m team Nora ofc cuz they’re meant to be but I really do think Jeremy’s love for Shuri is something very admirable and noble like, He’s never seen her as a mother btw and just as someone his age he’s always loved her but he knows it could never ever be anything more bc he’s know him loving her would only ever cause her problems which is why he was so angry at Nora bc he could, he could give her the world. And no matter how much Jeremy wants too he never could not only for her and his sake but for the rest of his family’s as well. Which is why he determined to be content with just seeing her happy and being by her side as family. Jeremy loves Shuri so much to the point that he wants to distance himself from loving her. This kind of love is something that could never be (Forbidden Love)💔 Anyways SPOILERS AHEAD: it all works out cuz he later finds someone he sincerely loves and someone who also loves him in return with their whole heart and they get married and live happily ever after together so everyone wins:)
