@suzywelch: Think you know what bosses are looking for? Think again. Getting hired and promoted used to hinge on traditional leadership traits…but in today’s world, those just aren’t enough. #careeradvice #careerdevelopment #hiringnow

Alisa 🆘🇺🇸 :
that used to get me the best roles. today, those things come across as “try hard” or “doesn’t know her place?” or “she’s had her turn, now its the young people’s turn.”

Question for you, Suzy. I’m interviewing for a new positions that incorporate a small percentage of sales. My current job does not include any sales however, I have a long history of sales at previous employers. They see that on my resume and still think I cannot sell just because I haven’t had a quote recently What am I doing wrong?

Although your saying all the right things, I think it would be scary to work for someone who is super aware of everything your feelings, an extra form of micromanaging no one wants

cheesy cheeseburger bombs 🍔✨ so easy and simple !! recipe: dough: ¾ cup (180g) warm milk ¼ cup (60g) warm water ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar 2¼ tsp (7g) active dry or instant yeast (1 packet) 1 large egg, room temperature ¼ cup (57g) unsalted butter, melted & cooled 3½–4 cups (420–480) bread flour 1 tsp (6g) salt 1 tbsp (13.5g) olive oil (for greasing bowl) Filling 1 lb ground beef (I like 90/10 or 93/7) 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1–1½ tsp adobo 1 tsp Italian seasoning 1 tsp smoked paprika ½ tsp black pepper Pinch crushed red pepper flakes (optional) 6–8 oz cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix, (i did colby jack) egg wash: 1 egg yolk 1 tbsp heavy cream garlic butter: 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted 2–3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder) 1 tbsp chopped parsley instructions in a large bowl, combine the warm milk, warm water, sugar, and yeast. let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy. add the egg and melted butter, then mix until combined. add the flour and salt. knead for about 8–10 minutes until the dough is smooth and slightly tacky. ( use oil to knead if needed ) ( i added the flour gradually until i felt the dough was good ) transfer to a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1–1½ hours or until doubled in size. meanwhile, cook the onions over medium heat until slightly translucent and add ground beef until browned. drain any excess grease. stir in the worcestershire sauce, adobo seasoning, italian seasoning, smoked paprika, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. let the filling cool completely. ( i’d also reccomend adding chopped pickles ) divide the dough into 8-10 equal pieces. ( i did roughly 100g balls ) flatten each piece into a circle. add about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture and a cube of cheese to the center. pinch the dough tightly closed and place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. cover loosely and let rise again for 20–30 minutes. whisk together the egg yolk and heavy cream, then brush over each dough ball. bake at 375°f (190°c) for 18–22 minutes, or until deeply golden brown. while they’re baking, combine the melted butter and garlic. as soon as the cheeseburger bombs come out of the oven, brush generously with the garlic butter( i forgot the minced garlic 💔), then sprinkle with fresh parsley. burger sauce: ½ cup mayo 2 tbsp ketchup 2–3 tbsp finely chopped pickles 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tsp dijon mustard ½ tsp adobo seasoning ¼ tsp black pepper pinch of salt (if needed) ½ tsp smoked paprika 1 tsp pickle juice (optional) 1 tsp garlic powder mix everything together until well combined. refrigerate for at least 15–30 minutes before serving for the best flavor. ( this is approximate so add what it needs until you like the flavor! ) #cheeseburger #bread #cheese #Recipe #EasyRecipe
