if you're using a 7 pin, There's most likely a blank connector that you can use to run constant power from the trucks charging system to the trailer batteries.

My battery is always charging when I plug it into the truck . Splice in some wires and make it do that , never have to charge the battery again

You need a red arc batter charger. Wires into the truck and will charge the battery while connected to your truck if that trailer is always used and always hooked up its with the money
