Aww Millie I completely get this. Lost my mum in June and have so many regrets, I could have stayed for 1 extra cuppa, should have called more. The list goes on. But you could see from your post the love you had for each other. She will always be there by your side ❤

Millie I would like to think your mum is absolutely proud of you. You could have been living in England and you would still feel the guilt of, I wish we did this,or wish we did that, or I wish I was present more. But your mum, She knew you moved to America and she knew you was happy and settled. Let that bring you some comfort knowing she knew you was happy. As mums you know we thrive for nothing more than our children being happy 🥹 I really do hope you see this and it brings a little comfort ❤️🩹 coming from another mum who has also lost her mum this year all the firsts are hard thinking of her in happy times pull me through xx

I lost my dad 3 years ago, and I still regret not visiting him much💔 we shouldn’t hurt ourselves like that but we do. A pain no one will understand unless they’ve experienced it xxx

Wish I had held her hand longer at the end. Did I tell you how much I loved you Mum? I'm sorry if I didn't, I can't remember. We're you still there? I didn't cry, are you annoyed about that? The tears came later, I was in complete shock for 3 weeks, had to get an ECG. I love you Mum

I felt like this after my dad passed. I hadn’t seen him for 4 years, I had no time to say goodbye, no time to tell him I loved him just a phone call to say he’d gone. Please don’t have any regrets Millie, our parents wouldn’t want that for us. I know deep down the happy memories mean more to them than anything else ❤️❤️❤

Ahh millie 💔 biggest hugs to you. It's so hard losing someone you love, you look back on everything you wish you done more of, but in hindsight nothing is too much when it comes to our parents. I wish I could hug my mum too, I have felt alone since she left this world. And ever since she's all I have wished for. But if there is any advice I can give is, grieve in what ever way you feel you need to. Never hold anything in. And take comfort that, your lovely little mum, will always be watching over you. ❤
