my college offered mountain biking classes, they were really fun and taught me a lot of technique! i don’t know if you’re college does, but if they do i recommend it!

Something to try in your cornering: yes, look at where you want to go (eyes on the exit of the turn), but also steer with your bellybutton/hips and keep your elbows out and up. That will give you a stable position throughout your turn!

Def agree that the knee and elbow pads are a must. You know how to fall (it is a skill) but sometimes that bike or rocks get in the way. Yesterday I clipped a rock trying to go too slow around a berm and flipped and rolled
