This devastating crash that occurred Nov 1st over Palm Beach Florida hasn’t left my mind. The loss of innocent lives (2 that were only 2 and 4 years old), is haunting me. I think the accident was due to a combination of things. The jet hadn’t been checked for maintenance in 5 years. Legally private jets are supposed to be checked for maintenance every year in order to legally charter guests, but the company of this private jet didn’t follow the law. I’m sure the pilot, copilot and passengers weren’t even aware the plane hadn’t been maintained in 5 years. The crash may have also been partially due to air traffic control sending them directly into the path of a storm. The same pilot and copilot were flying the very same private plane over New Jersey in May 2026 and were scolded by air traffic control for describing turbulence they were experiencing as being “moderate” when in fact it was severe. They were told by air traffic control that day to fly much lower. This tragic incident on Nov 1st was the same problem of turbulence being explained to air traffic control as “moderate” once again when in fact it was severe. They also were experiencing ice build up on the wings and precipitation at 35K feet which was unusual to experience at the height and was turning into ice build up on the wings. Maybe if they’d chosen to fly lower or go around the storm (as the law requires), they would have survived. A stabilizing part of the airplane tail came off before the plane crashed which may have been the reason the plane nosedived. Severe turbulence and/or lack of maintenance to the plane were likely contributing factors. I think it was a mixture of unfortunate incidents that combined caused this perfect storm. May all 9 innocent souls be at peace with the angels. ❤️💔🙏🏻 #RIP #privatejet #planecrash #november1st #tragic
