I retired 2 yrs ago @56. Not bored....Everyday is Saturday. No schedule is the best schedule. Money comes and goes..... your time just goes, I'm enjoying both. 37 years civil service... Im good and retirement is better. 😁✌🏾

I am retired nearly 5 years now and my to do list lasted about 4 and a half years ,now I have finished my list I just maintain my lawn ,hedges and house ,easy work, i now spend a lot of my time travelling, spent the day yesterday on a beach , at a table reading a book ,had sandwiches that I made and tea from a flask , starting to cook also ,life is just great

Well said. Retired at 56 1/2 yrs after 39+ yrs of a fed job. Do not miss the job or all the chaos that occurred daily this year. Mornings are much better without that “it’s still dark out alarm clock” & no commute. Took a seasonal job at a resort during the summer for 8 weeks & plan on going back next summer. Loving life now along with the ability of doing what I want, when I want instead of trying to fit everything in on a weekend.

I am 3 weeks in to retirement and still trying to figure it out. I have plenty of “to do” things on my list but it will eventually run out. Lol. I am already going nuts 🤣🤣
