I simply that I said “well if you can’t show me receipts and you don’t have the name of the order from last night that’s no problem at all. We’ll just check the video cameras from last night just to see what time you arrive and go from there“ and then see what their reaction would have been

At my previous jobs, you had to bring the item back, we didn’t just give you a refund because you ate it and didn’t like it. If it was burnt or made wrong then we would but not if it was made correct
