The very reason why the rally advances step by step is because of the tension created by the people at the front the ones pushing forward. Without them, the people at the back wouldn’t advance a single step. Most parts of the rally especially the brand less and faceless don’t even have permits, making them ineligible to pass through. So if you hate those at the front yet keep moving forward anyway, maybe you’re in the wrong rally. Don’t get me wrong, I believe provoking and creating tension with the police is wrong. But I also believe the message and weight of the situation can’t be fully received by those in power if they keep resisting and holding on to their authority. I also believe that the baseless use of aggression is wrong, especially when private places are set on fire for no reason. I’m not really trying to argue I’m just making a point about why some people at the front may resort to aggression.
