My son is the same way, he’s two days younger than Sutton. Everytime we try to get him to walk on his own he will just go to his knees and crawl. I feel like every baby reaches milestones at their own pace so I wouldn’t overthink it too much mama! Every baby is different and will do things on their own timing

All babies are different!! Sounds like he’s not ready to walk on his own, if he’s sitting down & refusing means he’s not completely confident in himself. He’ll get there! And the stubborn ones take a little longer 😂

My son did the EXACT same thing. One night we tried to replace our hand with a stuffed animal and he ran around holding that thing like he had been walking for months. It’s a security thing he’s just not confident in himself!

It’s just like that bluey episode kids will do things when they’re ready my girls didn’t walk until closer to halfway to 2 they just will do things when they’re ready 😊

My daughter was the same way. She walked at 14 months and was running a few weeks later. It will be any day now from no where!! Also, speech was slow at first too. She just turned two and is now technically ahead with speech. He is just fine mama ❤️i remember comparing her to like two year olds. Everyone is just different. Don’t compare. He’s still so so little

My niece walked at 10 months, my son walked at 14 months. He wasn’t interested. They will do everything in their own time.

honestly girl my son is the same way, he’s 13 months right now and has just started taking a few steps here and there and can and will say things but when we tell him to say it he won’t, he does it all on his own time lol

My girl didn’t walk till she was 15 months. She went to her 15 month appointment and the doctor said we may have to think about therapy. A few days later she was walking. He will walk when he is ready ☺

My little girl refused to walk alone as well. She didn’t walk until 15 months as well. The doctor referred her to physical therapy and in the waiting room she started 🤣🤷🏼♀

Stand him up away from anything he can lean on, Put something in each hand (a ball in each or a pack of fruit snacks in each hand ect) and he will start to take steps!!
