Built over a load of old mines. I don’t live far from there and one of my clients is a planning consultant. She said she doesn’t know how they ever got those plans through with the amount of mine shafts underneath

They built over mines it's so silly because they knew this, now people are gonna end up loosing there homes, it's the same along the new road going into ash grove there all mines too x

We went to put a deposit down on a plot up there at the beginning of the year, we looked at the blue prints and land details and the sales guy tried to skim past the mineshaft that would have literally been in our back garden if we had gone ahead.. we did our research

These house are built on old mine shafts . The planning permission took a while . I guess they got it and now look . Who buys a house on a old mine shaft though 😂

They are throwing up new housing estates in Darwen left right and centre, I doubt all the relevant checks are being made by the developers or it’s being allowed through back handers.. sadly I bet this won’t be the last! 🫤
