Samsung Face ID is absolute garbage. I was test driving the new Z Flip 7 recently for about a month and the Face ID unlock probably worked a total of 4 times over those 30 days. I eventually stoped even trying to unlock using it and would just use thumb print. Which is a very good print scanner i will say. But the face unlock is nothing compared to apples.

Aint gonna lie just switch from a s24 to a iPhone 16 ans god the Face ID is better at Apple but god i miss the fingerprint scanner

Android phones feel bleeding edge, first to have novel features at the expense of reliability and security. Those things are what Apple prioritises, which is why they seem uninventive. (Ironic since a lot of tech we have today are because Apple implemented or helped standardised them, for example, WiFi).

they mocked apple for their face id and then samsung has a 2d image for face recognition meanwhile apple has over 30 thousand infrared dots projected on ur face to scan in 3d, it checks for involuntary muscle movements to make sure it aint a statue and ur alive and it also checks the face reflection levels🤣
