我是位新加坡的老华人。我16岁中学大考其中之一的科目是中国历史。我认识了中国的土地文化。三王五帝至人民共和国朝代之变更都是考试范围。我记得小时候，老师气愤地讲述清朝末期，甲午战争，烟片战争，八国联军，割地赔款，二次大战日本侵略等事件，班上没人敢吭声，大伙儿静静地听。老师红丝的眼睛布满了泪水，我们班上的学生当时真的体会了中国这百多年被人欺负，被人看不起的情景。我们都哭了。 转眼间，想不到在短短的几十年，中国终于崛起了。中国不必再怕被人欺负了。我真的为你们高兴。加油。😘

It is true that China has over the years provided political, economic, and military support to regimes and organizations that committed serious crimes, including genocide and violence against innocent people.
