My max mileage is 17 miles currently and I’ve only ever done 2 salt tabs and then I use fuel every 30 min. I clearly need electrolytes?🤣

How important are hydration and fueling during half? I never take anything with me on my runs often 10 or so miles. Am I limiting myself by ignoring it? First half coming up on June.

How do you carry your flasks and gels in a marathon? Do you use a belt like the Nathan’s compression belt?

Hey bro need your help am currently running 9:17per mile average pace for my long runs. I have a half marathon coming up in 3 weeks what should I focus on in order to run a sub 2 hr half marathon or 9:00 per mile average pace? Should I focus on threshold runs, tempos or easy long run in order to reach my goal?

How do you hydrate in a race when you’re used to hydration packs on training runs? I’m not wanting to really carry anything for my marathon coming up but not sure how/if I’ll get enough at the water stops?

If I plan to hydrate with the Gatorade provided by the Chicago marathon. Should I consider the 11 gr of carbs (6oz) as part of my fuel strategy? 80gr carbs per hr

in my country, every race they provide water stations, basically water and electrolytes, so is it good to take hydrate every 2 km? and obviously take a gel too

Hey man, what’s the name of the lmnt product you’re suggesting? So basically once I figure out the sweat ratio I just apply the formula you mentioned and find the amount of salt, magnesium and potassium to feed my body?

Would you say the estimated sweat loss on garmin is unreliable? I use that as a gauge sometimes. I usually 1-2 take salt stick chews every 20-25 minutes during long runs

Hi! So only 1 one hour run (no food or water) at MP is needed to gauge how much sodium is needed, right? Can’t wait to try this.

I use a lot of your advice and went from a 20:40 5k in April to a 68 minute 10 mile Saturday. Got a marathon in December hoping for 3:10-3:15. Appreciate you hitting every topic even some I haven’t thought about before
