Lets Spread The GOSPEL ! • 2 Timothy 1:7 : "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." • this verse for me means that the lord jesus christ did not give us a spirit of fear, he did not give us a spirit that we would always fear, be scared, anxious, stressed, but he gave us a spirit of power, and love, and a spirit of a sound mind. power means enabling believers to overcome, to have strength, to face challenges and temptations, love means for me that he gave us a spirit of love that even we have enemies, someone who did something wrong to us, even so, still forgive them and love them. because Matthew 6:14 states - "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you" but if you do not forgive others, your heavenly father will not forgive you, lets move back to 2 Timothy 1:7, sound mind means self-control, a focus to do what is right, and have a mind that makes the right decisions, balanced, and disciplined. all of these came from my understanding, but i searched some of the parts, and re-explained them. a • And i hope you have a blessed day, a-men !
