As Romanian. I do live in UK for 10y, fully legal, 10y full of contribution taxes, 2 children born here, never claim benefits, never begging the gov. with rights to apply for British Citizenship right away. Would that affect myself and my Family?

What I find hilarious is that most of us living here on indefinite leave to remain contribute more to this country in taxes and services than majority of British people on welfare. He's going to be deporting a huge percentage of tax payers

I don’t understand. There’s an issue with immigration I understand it but I live here with my parents we work, we pay taxes, we dont bother anyone. We live in the uk now and it has become our new “home”. Is he planning to throw every immigrant away? Even us that we live legally and follow all the rules? We dont even bother about claiming benefits as we all work.!

He wants to remove ILR because he knows the NHS is sustained by immigrants. By taking that away, it becomes easier to push the NHS toward privatization.

Many people like me, who have been living in the UK for 20 years, were planning to vote for reform. But after today’s statements, that’s no longer the case. We will also encourage our friends and family to vote, even if they have never voted in the UK before, and we will make sure not to vote for reform.
