@sheldricktrust: Each life saved is part of a much bigger story — one of a species being brought back from the brink. Black rhinos are a critically endangered species. Here in Kenya, they suffered a catastrophic 98% decline between 1970 and 1983, as poaching decimated their population from 20,000 to just 350 in just over a decade. But today, Kenya’s black rhinos are growing in number. Orphans like Chamboi — who will rejoin Tsavo’s wild rhino population when he is ready — represent the future.
