Business major here— it’s their highly developed distribution systems. Coke— sells more than any water brand — and they are able to make it cheaper because they’re able to make their costs to distribute so low due to efficiency and having the ability to cut big deals with retailers at low costs

by making coke cheaper whether it is cheaper production or a matter of s&d, it more than likely has to do with making it so that people will buy coke since “it’s cheaper anyways”

More people need water than coke so you can charge more since its in demand. Coke is also less expensive because most people will just buy the cheapest option if they want something to drink.
