I’ve done this a couple times - the last time I did it was with my father who is now passed. So much fun! After going through the tunnels, we coined the phrase “Tunnel Butt” to commemorate the mud splattered on our booties 🤭 Thank you for sharing your experience. It made me smile, remembering the fun I had with my sweet dad. 💙

Hiawatha is such a fun ride. One year when kids were little we got poured on and it was so cold that day- down to the bone cold. The adults were miserable, the group of kids all had such a blast! Did you feed the chipmunks by the train ties? That’s our lunch spot and where we always feed them- chipmunk friendly nuts and seeds
