aphids!! knock them out of the trees with a Water hose, but keep in mind the smell like literal poo when wet

Is it a woolly aphid? I live in Montana and this is the first time/1st year I’ve ever seen them. But we had them like crazy this year.

They turn EVERYTHING BLACK WITH TAR LIKE SUBSTANCE THAT THEY EXCRETE! It’s hard to clean up HOW DO WE GET RID OF THEM!? Watch you cars too
