He used to visit me, I would wake up and he would be standing at the foot of my bed. He wore a black overcoat and a black top hat. Haven’t seen him in years. Must be something to it.

My brother and I both have sleep paralysis but since we didn’t talk about it, neither of us knew the other was having it until recently. I’ve never seen anything but I do always sense something evil is in the room.

I used to have nightmares of the hat man. He was a shadow man with a wide brim hat that would race through the house to come get me. I could hear him coming and it was terrifying. I would see him in the doorway running at me. He would pick me up and take me to the basement. He would mutter under his breath ‘oioioioioi. I called him Oil.

years ago I had the hatman in my kitchen for 3 nights. I never knew what it was until years later I saw on something about it and couldn't believe it was a thing! he was jet black, 7 foot tall with top hat on! I was so afraid.
