As humans why are we judgmental ? We all have those tendencies to be judgmental , not long ago my family went to eat at a sonic, we were out of town and didn’t know what tiny town we stopped at , all I saw was a nice outdoor play area for the kids that had been in the car for hours , when walking up to the play area my youngest goes to play and I watch my oldest with her , 🥹 im remembering that it was just yesterday I was chasing her around the play ground , I go to sit and wait I turn and look and there were 2 homeless people one sleeping under a picnic table , another one just trying to fill out an application , but the manger takes one look and just walks by him like a piece of trash . But this time our food came. I’m watching my husband , and children eat THANKFUL for what we have . We pack up to leave and get back on the road I told my oldest daughter go to the cooler get me waters , im looking at a meal I didn’t even want after seeing how those people were judged , at this point its hot as hell in Alabama , and the one person that had been sleeping under the table grabs his trash bag to leave, well the waters my daughter brought me I give him some with some snacks , he thanks me . I turn around and the gentleman that had been denied to fill out an application, I give him my meal , with waters , and snacks. He was forever greatful. He was just hungry and wanting a job. That manager could’ve changed his whole life , gave him something positive HOPE ! Would that have been too much? My oldest daughter looks at me and says mom why weren’t you scared , he was dirty and scary looking , but mom that was so nice. I said everyone has a story baby , but you help somebody if you can and it’s not bad for you . She smiles and says your right mom I love You . At this point we are driving down the road and I’m thinking that could’ve been me or my children or my loved one .
