@mbari_news: Darling deep-sea octopus 🐙 The deep-sea octopus Graneledone is found in all of the world’s oceans. Also known as the warty deep-sea octopus, they usually move by crawling along the seafloor, but can also swim via jet propulsion and/or pumping their arms and flared webs. These steadfast cephalopods are generally found between 1,000 and 3,000 meters (3,281 and 9,843 feet) deep. #Octopus #DeepSea #DeepOcean
