This!!! When roe v wade was overturned I knew exactly what was gonna happen. When you actually study civics you know all the laws that came after roe and how roe paved the way for so much.

It's been happing way before January. The show came out in 2017 responding to the rising issues of that time. Women protest in women's marches dressed up as Handmaids to show similarities to the show/book and our current world and where made fun of for being "too dramatic." It is important to re-watch/read to understand what people were predicting would be the fall of woman.
