Autism is not something that needs to be treated or cured, it is a difference in neurotype, in genetics and is quite hereditary. It’s not something people need to be scared of. Also, women’s pain management is being targeted by this, not concern for the autism community. If there were genuine concern for the autism community, there would be better resources throughout the country that genuinely make a difference. Also (a joke I read recently) if autism was caused by something this widespread, then the US would have a much better train system lol😂

As a late-diagnosed Autistic woman, this rhetoric of "fixing autism" is very dangerous and frankly scary. None of this is based in fact, and telling uneducated people that will do more harm than good. People with autism, ADHD, both (like me), or other neurological disorders are already discriminated against enough as it is, dont isolate and "other" us any further.
