Some of y'all just don't be listening tbh, my chem lab instructor was Pakistani and a bunch of people swore they couldn't understand him but he was low-key clear. (Handwriting was undecipherable though)

it’s because they get hired for research none of them care about if we learn squat 😔 that’s why community college is such a good investment it’s cheap and most are high school teachers who got a masters and wanted better pay 👏

Nah like call me racist for this idc but if you’re gonna come to America and get a job in academia. You need to be able to speak Perfect English. I don’t care if you have an accent it comes with the package but you at least need to be able to speak clearly so your students understand you 😭

Half my professors cant even type an email in English let alone speak it. My bad for not understanding instructions to assignment when i need to translate half of them for hieroglyphics to english

The only time it’s acceptable is whenever they’re teaching another language like my uncle he was a professor in China, but he taught English and he could obviously speak some Mandarin, but it wasn’t perfect

dude we had a Chinese guy teaching us medical terminology and I remember him pronouncing "trochlea" as "chockleeah" 😭 like he taught well! but could not pronounce nothing, and that was part of the grade was correct pronunciation 😭
