Die hard Pokemon fan here….. bought every game, used to be obsessed with the cards (before I grew up and learned they apparently have value) and watched every show and movie pre 2015…. The Pokemon company and community have fallen so far… Nintendo is awful for getting that patent and I hope they get enough backlash that it gets changed or something. Sad to see such a giant fall

Idk why people are acting like pocketpair made this to spite Nintendo. They didn’t make a game in a week just because Nintendo announced a Pokemon life sim. It’s all just coincidence.

they said they've been working on a spinoff for a while, my guess is that Nintendo did some corporate espionage and copied them and with Nintendo and game freaks resources they made a pokemon version and announced it fast so they'd have another excuse to harass pocket pair

I have been a die hard Pokémon fan since I was a child, but everything they're doing recently has absolutely ruined the franchise for me. Z-A will be the first Pokémon game I don't buy, and honestly I think I'll get this Palworld game when it comes out. Looks cute and fun/funny as well as detailed graphics it seems. So much more than Pokémon, and even Nintendo in general, has been doing recently.

based on the look of both games it feels like pocketpair was working on this a while then maybe Nintendo got wind of it and rushed to make the game first. pocketpair's game looks very well done and very nice while Nintendo's game looks very rushed and sloppy, it's graphics look rushed and overly simple compared to pocketpair's game.
