I just use crescent wrench to release it. Or a wrench close to the diameter of the pipe. I have both in my tool box. Never beenn an issue. Union Plumber/Pipefitter. Just Julian Saying. Some specialty aren’t necessary when a normal tool is already in the line up. I’ll pass.
