🚨Talon health update🚨Talon started having trouble perching a couple of weeks ago. After a trip to the vet for some x-rays, we began treating what we thought was a toe/foot injury. Last week, it became apparent that he was having neurological issues, including trouble balancing, weakness, and tremors. I immediately went back to the vet and had full blood work done to see if we could find the cause. While we waited for the blood work to come back, we started treating him for metal toxicity since it commonly causes neurological symptoms similar to what he is experiencing. I also moved him out of the small bird room and into a cage downstairs with a “hospital setup” that made it easier for him to get around. We got a call from the vet over the weekend that the blood work had come back. It showed very high WBC (white blood cell count) indicative of an infection. We started antibiotics while we waited to see the vet on Monday and find out what the next steps would be. After seeing the vet today, Talon has begun an aggressive treatment for an infection. He is currently on two antibiotics and an anti-inflammatory medication. We don’t know exactly what kind of infection we are fighting so we are just covering all of our bases. Unfortunately, at this point he is too small and sick to safely undergo further testing. He has been fully separated from the other birds for their safety while he is treated. Now we just wait and hope that he recovers.

Gen Z katanya paling lemah, manja, micin, bahkan katanya lebih bego dari orang tuanya. Padahal mereka generasi pertama yang megang HP pas puber, dikeroyok algoritma yang dirancang bikin gagal fokus, ditambah rumah yang harganya 20x gaji setahun dan kerjaan pemula yang dimakan AI.
