People complain about this game so much already, it’s an amazing game. I played the game with Japanese audio and English subtitles so I took in the story a lot more then it seems people who had the audio in English did, people keep saying the story is also shallow but the story is so much more if you read the notes and pay attention to the hints throughout the game. Hinako was married off and that’s why she was seeing the monsters, she was finding it hard leaving her life behind, that’s also why when she’s the “fog monster” she’s in white, because your basically playing as two people, while in Ebisugaoka feels like hinako is with her friends and they’re trying to escape together while when she’s in other world she’s alone, killing her friends (losing them) and she has the fox arm (hand in marriage) and they mask (she’s lost just like her sister) while the fox mask person represents her husband, which is why she wears white as the fog monster (some might be off but I think u got most of it, sorry if it doesn’t make much sense) this game is possible the best game I’ve played and the story had so much depth and was the first game that made me cry on how the sorry was portrayed
