Bracelands Campsite This is our review of Bracelands Campsite in the Forest of Dean. The campsite is a good size, mixture of hard standing pitches or grass pitches. Some with electric some without. It is select your own pitch when your arrive depending on if you paid for hard standing or grass. The grass pitches do look like a free for all and can end up with not much space. Reception has a small shop, offers you basic essentials like bread, milk, rice & beans. Also some Nik Naks and children’s games etc. The toilet facilities are large and plenty of space, just rather dated and could be a bit cleaner. There is also laundry facilities. There is a one way driving system around the whole campsite, which is good for when walking around, knowing which was traffic is coming from. They have Bracelands bites on site, open every morning for breakfast baps and pastries etc. They also open on a Friday night for Burgers and a Saturday night for desserts, as there is a mobile pizza van visits the site on a Saturday night. There is also a chip shop that will deliver to the site, the fish and chips were very nice. The campsite is surrounded by woodlands, and there is at least 3 gates from the campsite into the woods. Lovely walks or bike trails. Phone signal is very poor, there is WiFi on site, but unfortunately it’s quite weak. We started for 3 nights, We wouldnt rush back to stay here, but never say never for this site, but probably would only 1 to 2 nights if needed somewhere in the area. #motorhome #caravan #camping #travel #review #campsitereview #vanlifetravel #fyp @claire.thrower85 @Wonky
