How is he already so chill and not fighting the bit? I’ve had my ottb for a year and can only ride in a halter because she tries to take off when any contact is applied with a bit, even when my seat and voice is saying slow down 🥴

I don’t mean this in a nasty way but why is everyone always trying to get there horses to tuck there heads like that and most the time fighting the horse to achieve it. For me I just let my carry there heads how they feel comfortable for the same results.

he is gorgeous!!! also a question do you have any tips for hot headed OTTBs as one of my showjumpers tends to get really hot headed in a crowded warm up ring which then makes him get really fast in the ring and also just ways to prevent them from getting hot headed when sometimes you don't have the time to keep a regular work flow???

I'm not sure if it's the same for Australia but USA mostly go on the clockwise direction on the race so that could that explain his stronger on that rein. Not sure but he looks so calm and majestic 😍
