@aestheticvroo_: When it’s almost October again, I can’t help but think of last October. It feels strange like it was a different lifetime, like the person I was back then is no longer here. Last October, I was smiling differently, laughing differently, carrying hopes that no longer exist today. It’s funny how the same month can arrive again but it doesn’t feel the same. Seasons change and with them, people change too. Sometimes, I look back and wonder, was that really me? The person who lived last October? Or was it another version of me that doesn’t exist anymore? Change is strange. It hurts and heals at the same time. I’ve lost things I thought I couldn’t live without but I’ve also grown stronger in ways I never imagined. I never thought I would become this version of myself, standing in the same autumn air but with a new heart, new lessons and new scars.
