This Ho-Oh is one of the hardest Pokemon of all time to get. This is the Mt. Battle Ho-Oh, and to get it, you need to complete: the main story of Pokemon Colosseum,Catch all 48 Shadow Pokemon available in the game,Then purify every single one of those Pokemon -- which if you haven't played this game, involves A LOT of grinding. The gauge to revert a Shadow Pokemon back to normal goes down much more slowly than in XD -- I remember having to do sooo many battles, then purify each of those Pokemon one at a time in the single spot in the game that allowed you to purify them And on the note of battles, your final step to get this Ho-Oh is head to Mt. Battle for the Orre region's ultimate test -- a 100 battle challenge facing some incredibly stacked teams. They put nearly every Elite 4 to SHAME. And to make it even more difficult? You have to do this in Battle mode. Right, while the trainers in story mode become higher and higher levels the further up you go, in Battle Mode, every single trainer from the start is at least level 50, and if any of your Pokemon are above level 50, every Pokemon you fight will match the highest level Pokemon on your team. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention: every single trainer here has a full team of 6 Pokemon. Though you have some options -- you can choose either the singles or doubles track, and the first several areas are mainly filled with unevolved Pokemon, so you shouldn't have too much trouble. But hold up because fastforward to Battle 77 and you'll be fighting a trainer with a Jirachi if you're in the singles route. And by Battle 80? A trainer who LEADS with an Groudon. Then by Battle 90 you have to face Area Leader Axley, who has all three of the Gen 3 Regi's. With the final ten battles including matches against each of the legendary beast, the Lati duo, and Battle number 100 ending with Kyogre. And by then point if you're thinking, okay lets go the doubles route: I've got news for you - Doubles has to face all of those exact same Pokemon except all of them are shoved into the final 10 battles. Now there are ways to gain extra lives -- such as defeating a trainer without having any of your Pokemon faint, but if you make it all the way to the end, you'll be rewarded with a Level 70 Ho-Oh deposited into your PC. And outside of events, this is the only way to obtain Ho-Oh in Gen 3. And if you're the proud owner of XD, you can do Mt Battle three more times to get each of the Johto starters -- though XD lacks a Battle Mode so this challenge felt significantly easier. #legendarypokemon #pokemoncolosseum #pokemonscarletandviolet #hooh
