I just ignore every single letter. All they can EVER do is threaten. They can’t legally try to come to your house. No High Court official would EVER sign off on their literal extortion and Bailiffs don’t have the authority needed.

I just emailed them explaining i don't watch live tv and give them my tv licence number. the put on my account i don't need one and ive never had an issue :) (I also did pay a tv licence for a few months not knowing i didnt need one and they returned the money when I explained x)

ring them and say you don’t watch anything other than youtube because if you say anything like netflix or prime thats considered watching tv anyways but yh my mum did this and never had to pay again

Btw for anyone wondering no you dont need one if you dont watch live tv. UNLESS you use BBC iplayer, itv, channel 4, etc. so that could be why. They use it because technically they are almost like live tv, and they do that so that the applications you are using are free. But as long as u dont use those ur fine

..... I'm so confused about how you can watch something without paying for it first. Like why don't they just cut it then/ deny access for people who don't pay? If they can't do that it means they are not in control, but then why are they asking you to pay them!?

Ja, das mit den Rundfunk Gebühren ist schon was... have mal von einem man gehört, der allein mit seinem Hund lebt. er bekam einen Brief, in dem verlangt wurde, das der Hund Rundfunkgebühren zahlt 😂😂😂

if you just say you dont have a tv they cant come in and check they'll say they can, but they also claim they have radar bands that can tell whos watching illegally. they've been doing that since the 50s
