will have to pick these up. I got into alchemy after watching full metal alchemist when I was like 13. while the show was a little different in terms of alchemy it really opened my eyes to the occult. I ended up reading the emerald tablets of thoth and didnt really get anything out of it other than realizing the symbolism in stories such as those, so im glad to hear that its mostly just a story. however, super glad I went down that route because now I've been meditating for almost 20 years and it has gotten me through a lot in life. now I need to read the actual emerald tablet!
