Tommy :
Claim 1: “Eat one slice of pizza 🍕 & you’ll look like you just cried in the bathroom for 6 hours straight 😭.”
Exaggerated.
While eating salty or carb-heavy foods like pizza can cause temporary bloating or puffiness due to water retention (especially if you’re sensitive to salt, dairy, or refined carbs), it won’t dramatically alter your appearance in such a short time for most people.
Claim 2: “Dairy + bread spike insulin and trap water, that’s why your jawline clocks out by dinner.”
Partly true, but oversimplified.
Bread and dairy can raise insulin levels that’s normal, as insulin helps your body process carbs.
Insulin can lead to some temporary water retention, but this is minimal in most healthy individuals.
Your “jawline disappearing” is likely just bloating or mild inflammation, not actual structural change.
Claim 3: “Inflammation hides your bone structure way faster than fat ever could.”
Somewhat true, but misleading.
Inflammation (from allergies, poor sleep, high-sodium diet, etc.) can cause fluid retention and puffiness, particularly in the face.
However, fat storage and inflammation are not equivalent, and inflammation doesn’t literally “hide bone structure” overnight it’s just mild swelling.
