The hatred is valid, since the one of the writers is Dana Terrace, which she is the one that created a show called the owl house got cut earlier than it should have, due to ‘concerns’ about the ‘mature content’ in the show, but it was teaching kids that it’s okay to love who u want, and other valuable lessons that not a lot of kids get taught from their parents.

Even before the release of Mickey Mouse, Walt Disney was stealing people's characters left and right, there was a big case in 1926 where Walt Disney had to abandon his Alice cartoons because a character named Julius the Cat was a ripoff of Felix the Cat. Walt Disney also stole the idea of Steamboat Willie from a short animation that aired privately called Steamboat Bill. And in 1929, after Walt Disney sold Oswald the Lucky Rabbit to Universal Studios, he stole multiple frames from Universal. Watch "All Wet" (animation made by Universal in 1927) and Wild Waves (Disney production from 1929) back to back, it's one of the many examples of where Walt stole from Universal
