@itsdecryptid: Rapture today is trending after a viral prediction tied to Rosh Hashanah. People are posting everything from urgent warnings to memes. Here is what matters. The English word rapture is not in most Bible translations. It comes from Latin rapturo and the Greek harpazō, which appears in passages like 1 Thessalonians 4 and 1 Corinthians 15 about believers being caught up. The idea of a secret pretribulation snatching is a modern system, popularized in the 19th and 20th centuries by figures like John Nelson Darby and by books and films. Many Christians and major traditions do not teach a separate secret rapture. The consistent biblical caution is clear: scripture discourages date setting and urges steady, purposeful faith. When you see viral rapture posts, look for context and ask who is making the claim and why. #Rapture #ChristiansRapture #RaptureChristians
rapture theory was made up in the early 1800s and is completely unscriptural

The traffic pass predicted that the rapture will come but guess what it didn’t come so tell him to shut the hell up in 1995. They say the Raptors is gonna happen 225,000 people sold their homes, cars, money donation and never happened and then he predicted in 1999. It was going to happen and still didn’t happen. People predicted 2012. It was going to happen. Nothing happened.
