@darkwingswildlife: Capybara Frequently Asked Questions: “How much do they sleep?” Capybaras are crepuscular, meaning they’re most active at dawn and dusk. With that said, their sleep patterns can vary a ton! In the wild they alter their active times based on predator activity. With no predators here, our capybaras are most active when the weather is nicest. Their favorite time to come out and swim or graze is between 3-8 PM or so. They snooze pretty much the rest of the day, and alternate between snoozing and munching overnight. They’re not particularly active in the morning, they prefer to eat their breakfast and go back to bed 😴 #capybara #facts #faq #AnimalFacts #wildlife
