I worked at a Sears for 6 years 19-24 and I had so many wonderful experiences and now that it’s closed and abandoned idk how to feel about all I lived there… it’s like it never happened now because it’s al gone. It feels very strange. Nostalgia is odd

Like a year ago. I went to Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg Illinois with my family. My dad thought Sears was still open. Then little brother no it’s not open. Then my dad went silent after that. My dad really miss Sears a lot. He said it was the best store he been to. Especially like car tools he needs. I miss Sears too man :(

I love the malls and i miss them so much. The shopping experiences we have now sucks so bad. Malls were more than just shopping, it was an experience, u got to catch instore sales, u had good food, u got to seethe products try them on meet friends catch a movie etc. it was a time.

Had one of these in my hometown and it closed in 2016, I was devastated because I loved shopping their with my my grandma and great grandma, now it’s a storage facility so I’m glad at least it’s being used for something but I’ll never forget the way it smelled, the way the isles were layed out and the music playing over the loud speaker.
