i full organized work and tax stoppage would work but we would never pull together to do that. ALSO He wasn't fired, he was suspended indefinitely. I think they were always going to bring him back. Unfortunately I dont think the boycotting had anything to do with his return. He went coukd have sued ABC on multiple levels. They had no legal standing so they would have to pay him his contract and future damages.

The situation with the Target store is another example of what is possible, but it's not happening often enough. People complain about job wages and being overcharged by streaming services, yet they still rush to pay for them without doing anything about it. I've been guilty of this as well, uncertain if a protest would work. It's especially difficult for those of us who spend a lot of time at home and don't have much entertainment, but if that type of collective action works, why not do it for other matters? It's a bit of a head-scratcher that it took a celebrity being unjustly fired from their position for people to rally together. It's cool that their position was restored, but what about those of us who don't have millions to pay for lawyers or supportive celebrity friends to rally with us? The disenfranchised and poverty-stricken are often left to fight alone against unjust systems.
