@hippiegirl.modernworld: #Tylenol 🚨 Did you know? Studies are exploring a possible connection between acetaminophen (Tylenol) use in pregnancy and developmental concerns in children. What do you think — coincidence or cause for concern? 🤔 #acetaminophen #PregnancyHealth #AutismResearch #Neurodevelopment
it's just one possible link. people are acting like their saying it's the ONE AND ONLY THING. 🤦♀

I like the idea of being informed. I think the risk with that rabbit hole is that we can’t possibly be well informed and educated on every single topic related to preganancy and health. So we have to rely on medical providers to stay up on literature and studies and discuss with us as they have a better understanding of research studies and the nuance there. There have been studies with thousands of subjects that have attempted to negate for the genetic component here by looking at siblings that found no correlation. This study says there maybe correlation but says it does not show causation. So yes doctors who spend decades learning to do this research and read it and interpret it get worked up when anyone with that public of a platform misreads studies and data and now patients are at greater risk because they take medical advice from someone who simply isn’t qualified to give it.

I think what people need to heavily consider … what’s worse- miscarriage from fever, neural tube defects (such as spinabifida where the cord develops outside of the body in some cases), or not fully confirmed not high population of ppl studies. I’d take autism over the serious and known complications of a fever that can only be treated with acetaminophen because minimal meds are approved for pregnancy as it is

100%. Use smoking as an example. Cancer existed before smoking. If you smoke will you absolutely get cancer, no. Is it something you should avoid if you don’t want cancer, yes.

I have two boys, one that it is 25 now and he is on the autism spectrum and one is 16. My first born never showed any signs of autism until he was 2yrs old and it only occurred after he got large round of vaccinations and there were a lot in one sitting🙄. A few days later, it was like I had a whole different kid. We are always told to give our kids Tylenol and ibuprofen, to alternate them when they’re sick. I do feel that it made it only worse with him. I was also told not to eat fish because of the mercury and not even to take fish oil supplements. But with my youngest, I fought against the hospital to space his vaccinations. Also, when I was pregnant, I had a different doctor and he prescribed me fish oil capsules. My youngest is not on the spectrum. He he is a straight A student with not developmental disabilities….but with him, I feel that all the times I had to alternate the Tylenol and Motrin when he was sick that caused other issues. He developed bladder issues ( which thank God are fine now) and but had also developed kidney stones at 13 and then again at 14. Not saying Tylenol had anything to do with that, but who knows🤷🏻♀️But I fully believe that the Tylenol in conjunction with the massive amounts of vaccinations they give children at a young age, has contributed to the autism problem.
