I got the 16 pro Max never had problems with battery drain never got hot enough. I don’t know what people saying. They got mine never got hot ever.

For content creation the processing on the 17 pro max is chefs kiss. It’s so fast it doesn’t get hot and I keep my phone on full brightness and it does not dent my battery %
