I had to quite my 2 yr streak learning Spanish on duolingo because I was doing it for his daughter and him. also they use the name Gabriel in the lessons and it was triggering. I switched to learning Italian until im healed enough to go back and learn Spanish for me if I ever try again. also I blocked him on everyone including duolingo. he's still on venmo though. he did me dirty financially so if ever there comes a day he grows a conscience. I highly doubt it though.

i went no contact with him and then i went no contact with every single person who i used to be friends with who i knew through him. i knew they’d only make it harder for me, i knew when one of them told me i abused him too, when i opened up about the relationship. which was actually insane and she couldn’t back it up with any evidence bc i didn’t do anything to him?? anyway after that i knew i couldn’t have any of them around and i got rid of them all. i don’t miss them.

What if your friends and some of your family are related to them by work or friendship, and I don’t want to gossip and tell them that we are no contact , some know we are not talking but they don’t care, and they mention their name in the convo and it hurts ! Should I just put a disclaimer to each one that please don’t give. Any news or sentence related to them and do not mention their name?
