Funny that as a Chinese I end up watching the full version on TikTok😅 but for those that are wondering, there’s a bit of “rap” in the middle that complains how tight and stressful the kids weekly schedule is. And I think aside from the talented choreography, this dance is also a metaphor of how kids (as well as parents) may feel like they are in constant competition with one another. While the first turtle “woke” and realized she’s supposed to be a kid enjoying life, the rest of the “animals” all woke and took down their “animal features” and went back to being kids.

Me parece que es una metáfora sobre el aprendizaje y el sistema que presiona a una permanente competencia de los niños;todos tienen capacidades diferentes,hay quienes aprenden o logran alcanzar metas más rápido que otros, el semáforo es el sistema educativo,que impone los tiempos. La coreografía nos muestra el permanente esfuerzo de cada uno por lograr salir adelante. El final, nos revela que sólo son niños, alegres, luminosos y conscientes, frágiles pero poderosos..
