There is nothing you can do. If you do prepare to survive some how, for years, someone will know and you will have too many to defend yourself come and violently take it. There is nothing you can do. Be smart and prepare for a 2-4 weeks.

you didn't say anything about security. the scenario is when you know you're going to be without electricity for exactly 2 weeks. what do you do when you don't know how long it's going to last. even if you're prepared, there are many others who aren't, and they'll come after you to take your supplies. in big cities, after 2 days without electricity, where nothing works anymore, chaos sets in, and when you think that in the USA the gun market is free, you can imagine the apocalypse, just after 3 days. in 2 weeks there's peace
