Yeah I bought a disc lock with an alarm 🚨 when the batteries died I never replaced them, as the alarm is a waste of time/noise and money. The lock itself is just fine.. Alarms on bikes are an insurance con. Makes absolutely no difference to the bike being stolen or not. Alarms on bikes cost you more money as they kill your battery too! My bikes are kept inside a garage with an electric door and they are never left unattended when outside of my garage. They are also locked to ground anchors too!
